The traditional vibe of the Premium Triple Room, along with the heated tatami floors, truly made our experience special. The little dog that visited added an unexpected charm to our stay!
While the atmosphere was delightful, the walls are quite thin, and we could hear other guests at times, especially when they moved around.

Dining at the local Nikomiya Rokken just down the road was an adventure! The owner also made our stay complete with cozy heated tatami floors and a delightful traditional atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Plus, a natural stone soaking tub? Yes, please!
You could say the hotel is quite basic, but it really had everything we needed and was excellent value for money in Kyoto. Just a tad more attention on plug sockets would be a cherry on top.

This was just a prime choice for a flying visit in Kyoto with good value for money. The room was spacious and clean, making it easy to relax after a day out. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, as the noise level can be quite high.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the spacious One-Bedroom Suite. Exploring traditional shops along Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka while spending time on the heated futon was a highlight for the family. The innkeeper provided excellent recommendations for our adventures since we traveled with our grandchild.
My wife says that the bathroom could use kid-friendly amenities.

The One-Bedroom Suite was spacious and comfortable, enhancing the overall experience with its cozy atmosphere. The owner provided exceptional recommendations for nearby attractions, making it easy to immerse in the local culture. A notable highlight was the leisurely experience of soaking in the stone bathtub after a day of exploring. However, sound insulation could be better, as the noises from other guests at times were a bit disruptive. Additionally, some amenities were basic, which might not meet everyone's expectations.
